Our counselors offer help to people who are experiencing mental, relational, emotional, and spiritual difficulties, as well as to those who are seeking growth in their everyday lives. To journey with a trained and compassionate person for a limited period of time often makes possible to achieve movement toward health and wholeness that would not occur on one’s own.

CentrePointe counselors are trained in the same theories and techniques as other mental health professionals. However, our training goes one step further: our counselors have the ability to integrate spiritual issues with treatment and to draw upon the wisdom of religious teachings, when working with people who find this helpful. This form of counseling is often referred to as pastoral counseling or pastoral psychotherapy.

CentrePointe establishes fees for the various services it offers based upon reasonable and customary costs. Health insurance may cover these costs. When health insurance does not cover the cost, grants may be available to make the counseling affordable.

CentrePointe Counseling’s counselors are in-network providers with many insurance companies. This means that clients only pay co-pays and/or any deductible that applies at the time of service.

For other insurance companies, there are still many instances where we can directly bill your insurance provider as an out-of-network provider and charge you the co-pay at the time of service.

Please speak with your counselor PRIOR to your first appointment to confirm they are a provider with your insurance company.  When health insurance does not cover the cost, sliding-scale scholarships are often available to make counseling sessions affordable.

Sessions are 50 minutes in length and usually occur weekly.

Our counselors offer evening and weekend appointments. Because of the demand for these hours, you will need to discuss availability with your counselor during your initial phone call.
